Mobile App Overview & Installation

The NexusHealth mobile app is the primary tool for clinical ROP examinations. It's designed for use at the point of care with features optimized for neonatal eye screening workflows.

Overview

The mobile app provides:

  • Patient lookup and creation
  • ROP examination documentation
  • Video and image capture
  • Offline support with local storage
  • Dark/Light mode support
  • Multi-facility support

Installation

iOS

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Search for "NexusHealth"
  3. Tap "Get" to download
  4. Open the app and log in with your credentials

Requirements: iOS 14.0 or later

Android

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Search for "NexusHealth"
  3. Tap "Install"
  4. Open the app and log in with your credentials

Requirements: Android 10.0 or later

Enterprise Deployment

For managed device deployments, we support:

  • MDM (Mobile Device Management)
  • App configuration profiles
  • Managed app distribution

Contact your account manager for enterprise deployment options.

First Login

  1. Enter your organization's facility code
  2. Enter your email and password
  3. Complete two-factor authentication (if enabled)
  4. Select your default facility
  5. You're ready to start!

Offline Capability

The app uses local storage (Hive) to work offline:

  • Create patients offline
  • Document examinations offline
  • Capture videos and images
  • Data syncs automatically when connected
  • Conflict resolution for concurrent edits

Settings

Access settings by tapping your profile icon:

  • Theme: Switch between dark and light mode
  • Facility: Change your active facility
  • Notifications: Configure push notifications
  • Sync: Force sync data with server
  • About: View app version and support info
